Will be traveling outside the U.S. and need to purchase travelers health insurance?
Samuel S asked:
I am in the process of applying for a long stay visa Poland. I will be staying approximately 7 months. I need to show proof of health insurance with outside the U.S. Does anyone have any advice on who to go through? Who provides the best coverage, and will show the best proof of coverage when applying for my visa.

There are a number of companies and you can find all of them by going to GOOGLE and entering TRAVELER’S HEALTH INSURANCE POLICIES. but IT’S NOT GOING TO BE CHEAP, which is why most people go without it.

If you are going there to work, ask your employer what is required. Contact a travel agency who handles international travel. They will usually have a direct source for the insurance you need.

Well, I think it’s okay to talk to a travel agent about insurance but they may not give you the most cost-effective options because they may only issue insurance through specific companies. Try. It’s a comparison site for different insurance companies. I use it all the time. Once you purchase your policy you just have to print out the confirmation they email to you and present it with your visa application. Don’t worry too much about showing ‘the best proof’ of coverage.
