What unholy amount did it cost for the NY Yankees to “unearth”?
Their entire stadium to find a Red Sox t-shirt planted by a construction worker?
They found it UNDER CEMENT - which could have been funny in and of itself (who’d want to be buried under cement in NYC?) had the Yanks actually taken it that way. Instead, the team called for an entire influx of workers to find the offending t-shirt by digging up the whole stadium. You’d think they (and this is naught to do with baseball, I don’t even watch it) would have thought to give the money this must have cost to starving children (1 in 4 here in America) or to someone (or ‘ones’) whose insurance will not afford them the life-saving surgery they need. There is a little boy in my area, Mathew Mumbauer, who was paralyzed from the chest down after being pushed down a flight of stairs by bullies at school. Why not give some money to his strapped family, or to programs preventing bullying?
This sort of thing makes me sick. It stinks of bad sportsmanship. What a whole lot of stupidity.

Well they may have found jimmy Hoffa,I agree and also find it sickening that government monies are being used to convict a player of steroid use. Those billions of dollars could help the poor children as well.

Serves them right for building a new stadium they don’t need. Yankee Stadium is fine the way it is now.
