Insurance for 17 year old tourist to the uk?
Evil_Twin55 asked:
Im planning on travelling to the UK, and i wil need to drive over there. Im 17 so i think im too young for a hire car. Is there any insurance companys that do short term cover for 17 year old tourists? I know it would be expensive. I hold citizenship for uk but are currently resideing in australia.Would my australian insurance comp cover me? Thanks

You’re right, at 17 you can’t rent a car, so what will you be driving? If you have a valid license, the permission to use someones car, and their insurance allows someone under age 25 to drive, you’re covered under their insurance.
