If I take online classes would I still have my parents health insurance?
Paden M asked:
Health insurance companies require you to be a dependent under their parents health insurance. Meaning his parents still support them money. Are students in college are also covered, is not that correct? So if you travel abroad and take classes online, however I would be covered under my parents insurance?

~~It depends on whether the school you are using provides a card to you every semester showing the units of classes you are taking. I believe it has to be 12 units, or you will lose your insurance.
Best to ask your agent what they will require as proof, then as the online school if they provide it, that will you will not have any unpleasant surprises.~~

The insurance has limitations on coverage while traveling and unless the school was also certified approved college you would not be considered an eligible.
An eligible fulltime student.
