how to get proof the road was closed due to fires?

my travel insurance wants proof that interstate 5 was closed for my missed the boat claim. Any idea where one might grt that info?

   The Highway Department, who issued the closure notice, should be able to give you a letter that backs up your claim.

   Cal Trans, California Highway Patrol. Now if this was due the the recent fires above sylmar. Highway “5″ may not be the number listed. Some reports stated the 405 at Roxford. which is where the 5 and the 405 merge.
