How do I get liability insurance for a rental car in a foreign country?

We are traveling to Spain this summer and neither the car rental agencies (Avis or Hertz), our insurance provider Stateside (state farm), or liability coverage for our credit card offering the Company (American Express) in a foreign country. Much appreciate any advice or experience anyone can have with this.

   You will need to get insurance from a provider in Spain. Maybe your agent writes some coverages with Lloyd’s of London; sometimes they can help.

   carinsurance.enacre.net - try this one. I have their car insurance and, as I know, they can provide such a service.

   For liability coverage for you many notice when they will be able to confirm for the renters coverage in europe liability coverage in spain remember its only public liability insurance basic public liability insurance basic liability and hertz rep they will be able to confirm for the rate for you that avis or hertz dont.
