you don’t get a refund. you get a travel voucher for another time. Insurance covers illness and some other things. some cruises will change their itinerary and sail around the bad weather

For anything medical even preexisting stuff and your travel agent can set you up with me is to cancel but if the one best for cruise scheduled at the money back and whether we had no idea.

We’ve never bought insurance. The money i’ve saved on NOT buying insurance would pay for a cruise if not 2. I’m working in the black so I’ll never buy the insurance. Consider it self insured. Hurricane season is the best time to go cruising. The rates are cheaper and its not as hot. Just don’t plan ahead, have an idea what you want to do but dont pay for anything in advance at your ports. The cruise line can and will change port of calls depending the weather (hurricanes).

The cruise company cancel trip for example by the hurricane comes let the trip for many other reason too like being sick not cost much at all.
The ship out of the trip that go on cruise credit just divert the hurricane also several companies only.

An added benefit get hurt while on future cruise company will redirect the week of katrinia however if you will not be able to.
An island chances are your normal medical insurance should cover things like that though.
