are these symptoms to something?
or am i just really unhealthy and paranoid? lol I’m not trying to self diagnose i just want to know if this sounds bad enough to try and see a doctor about. i have no insurance so seeing a doctor will be hard.
I am 23 right now
i grew up normally and was a healthy kid but when i was about 9 or 10 i suddenly started gaining weight that wouldn’t go away, and i was an active kid with ADHD. then as i got older i got more and more tired, then at the age of 11 i was diagnosed with cronic migrains. i still get them to this day, but they are pretty spaced out but will go on in waves of intensity for a few months, mostly in my nasal area, but sometimes it goes to one side fo my head or the other. I’ve never really been one to eat alot, maybe during holidays and rare times out but when i was in early highschool where i would take dance class and walk up and down three flights of stairs every weekday i couldn’t lose a pound. ive gained a little recently now that i don’t do as much excercisin
actually with the migrains they radiate, they start out in the sinus are then either to one side or the other.
oops, for got to mention that my period slowed down at the age of 20 and stopped at 22 and came back light and longer at the end of 22 and beginning of 23 and had a majorly bad one last month. throughout my teenage life though it was never constant, every month was a guessing game, it was like it had a mind of it’s own and would decided to come when it wanted to each month.

I’m not really sure what you are asking…migraines can sometimes be avoided by changes in diet. Many migraines are food allergies in disguise. You might try keeping a headache diary. This would consist of when the headache occurred, how intense it was, what kind of pain you had…throbbing, stabbing and any other symptoms associated with it. Along with this, keep a food diary. When you have the headaches over a period of a month or two while keeping the diary, go through it along with your food diary and see if there is any contributing factor…like for example, every time you drink wine you get a migraine or every time you eat cheese (wine and cheese by the way are considered to be contributing factors for lots of migraines). As far as the weight gain…this could also be related to food allergies.

With a lack of ability to lose weight, migraines and irregular periods, i’d have to suggest PCOS. Google it and see what you think.

any time you feel like something is wrong with your body you should see a doctor about it but go in prepared to answer questions such as when your last headach was , how long did it last, when was your last period, etc. so keep a journal for about a month or two before going in to see them so that you can show him any patterns you may be having this will help to narrow down the diagnosis
