I have had a chronic medical condition for the last few years - and the Canadian doctors have not helped me at all. I plan on going to the US for a second opinion and for any tests they’ll want done.

Can I get insurance to help cover the cost somewhat? (This is not the same as travel insurance or emergency insurance.) Also no doctor in Canada is forwarding me down there - I am going by my own choice.
I don’t know if this is considered a “pre-existing condition” though. My doctors say its nothing. But I have had stomach problems for the last few years.
