Who do you book travel insurance through (if USA resident?)?

Hi, I am wondering if I need to book travel insurance for my mom. She will be traveling with me for about 3 weeks through the USA (hawaii and around the mainland US). Do I need to buy travel insurance for her? She lives in Colorado so does she need travel insurance to go to Hawaii? I don’t think she will while going around the mainland either. If she does need insurance, can anyone recommend a good company? She’s a senior. Thanks for any help!

   Are you looking for a health insurance rider or are you looking for travel insurance like if your trip is canceled or she gets sick and needs to be transported somewhere else?

   When I buy airline tickets online I have an option there to do it - I believe Geico sells Travel/Trip insurance.

   I don’t know about a seperate health insurance if that’s what you want.

   Travel insurance, you should not need to buy extra travel insurance! waste of time! all i know
   of is interuption travel insurance that they airline! will pay for lost luggage!
