TRAVEL INSURANCE FOR 17 YEARS OLD NON DEPENDANT?

Hello,

Can someone tell me where can I find travel insurance for a 17 year old (2.5 months to 18) to travel alone worldwide? I have tried on the web and the companies do not insure under 18s traveling on their own. Is there a company that does it apart from the Post Office? THANKS!!!

   unfortunately you’re classed as a dependent until the age of 18 & the post office is the only place I know of that will insure you on a policy of your own i.e. without an adult.
