In Ohio where can you get Birth Control cheap while not being on Health Insurance?

Sunday, July 19th, 2009
Dr.M asked:

I live in Columbus so I would be willing to travel an hour at most to get it.
Note: I have been to planned parenthood and they gave a price of 72 dollars. I don’t know if thats universal but it would be nice to recieve an answer from someone experienced on the subject and who knows a place or two they’ve gotten it from before. Thank You.

Crossing to Canada by car-Do I need a certain insurance card(Canadian ID card?)?

Saturday, July 18th, 2009
dyun33 asked:

I am living in the US and going to travel to Canada. I am also an international but have every document except one: Canadian ID card.

By chance, I find that every car insurance company provide “Canadian ID card” to all customers. Today, I asked my insurance company whether I have to bring it or not. They answerd “I will need.”

But I cannot find any other people who say like that.
Could you tell me if you were requested the card by Canada officer when you entered Canada?

Thanks

How can I get US health insurance for my (non US residents) parents (in late 50’s)?

Saturday, July 18th, 2009
ribciuc asked:

This is both an “Immigration” question and a “Health Insurance” question. My parents will start living in the US several months a year or more as legal visitors to live with us until they get green cards and can move here permanently. They are close 56, 59 years old. How do I go about getting them health insurance so unexpected health concerns don’t ruin them, they can get their prescriptions filled w/o paying an arm and a leg, etc?

Are there specialized US insurance companies that offer insurance to non-residents that’s worth anything? I don’t need the gimmicky “travel insurance” that won’t cover anything or require outrageous deductibles and paperwork sent to some tax haven country … I need a reliable US insurer who can be found, operates under laws of US, has customer service who can explain their policies, etc.

We are going on a Mediterranean cruise for 12 days. We have Aetna insurance (POS Choice II)–is that enough?

Friday, July 17th, 2009
Mr. E asked:

Or, should we purchase travel insurance from CSA for $84 each? I just called Aetna, and they cover any medical related emergencies that we may encounter. Cruise ship’s infirmaries are out of network, so my plan covers me at 75% after a deductible. If I need an emergency room visit, then that would be covered at 100% after a $75 deductible.

Maybe a better question is, if we should get travel insurance, how does CSA stack up against TravelGuard, Insuremytrip, and others?

How self assesment, tax payments and insurance contributions are paid for self employed in UK?

Thursday, July 16th, 2009
artur_mozejko asked:

I am self employed from 3rd of July 2006 and want to suspend my business on 29th of September 2006, because I’m leaving UK for ever. Can somebody help me with following questions?

1.Can I suspend my business on 30th September and not pay class 2 contributions for the rest of the tax year?
2.Can I pay all 2nd class contributions at once (03-07-2006 to 29-09-2006) via direct debit? I won’t be able to receive any post after 29th of September)
3.My income equals £3500 and will not be higher in this tax year. Is there any need to claim any expenses (for example travel or office/flat rent) when having such low income (Is this amount tax free)??
4.Can you provisionally calculate how much tax I owe the Inland Revenue and how should and to Whom? Is there any amount free of tax?
5.Can I get tax return before 29th September?
6.Can Inland Revenue Office check if I filled in tax return form without any mistakes?
7.Which forms do I have to fill?
8.DoIhaveToBeRegistered in home office?

I need help finding short term insurance?

Wednesday, July 15th, 2009
echoserria asked:

I live in Germany now, and I am going to visit my childhood home in the summer for 40 days. My German insurance doesn’t cover me in the USA, and I am not eligible for a lot of travel insurance because I am a US citizen, and I still use my parents address as my legal address.

I just want to be insured so that if I am in a car accident, my life is not wreaked forever.
Oh sorry. I am only concerned about health insurance. I don’t want to be injured badly in a car accident and have millions of dollars worth of debts.
