alphabravotango asked: I know that there are a few in the UK, but they only cover UK citizens or residents… are there companies like those offering coverage to non-US resident / non-UK resident people for traveling to places outside the UK and US?

Wondering asked: I am going to spend next summer (2 1/2 months) in Europe to study at a university and do a little bit of travelling. I am planning on taking my laptop, digital camera, and other miscellaneous (but valuable, at least to me, items). Should I get travel insurance? I am scared of my electronics being damaged, or even moreso, stolen. How should I go about getting travel insurance? Thank you very much for your advice.

cableguy asked: I’m going to be booking a trip to Orlando in the next month or so. Probably through Travelocity, since i found the best deals there for both my flight and hotel.
Should i get travel insurance for a trip like this? If so, should i get it throught Travelocity (i think they offer something) or through a different insurance company?
I’ve really never taken a long trip like this before, so I’m really not sure what to do, but from what I’ve heard, getting insurance is the thing to do.
Thoughts?

Britishlady asked: Hello,
Can someone tell me where can I find travel insurance for a 17 year old (2.5 months to 18) to travel alone worldwide? I have tried on the web and the companies do not insure under 18s traveling on their own. Is there a company that does it apart from the Post Office? THANKS!!!
Sue
